ORGANISATIONS
In the midst of constant changes, uncertainties and (often) chaos in the workplace, a safe base is indispensable. It gives you an anchor, a focus on making well-considered decisions while staying (being) flexible at the same time. In the Secure Base @Work Training you will develop three important qualities that support you in this process: (staying) Being centered, Being (staying) connected and Being (staying) clear. These qualities increase your emotional intelligence, the flexibility of the brain and thus, your mental resilience.

PROFESSIONALS
If you provide mindfulness and compassion training or coaching, over time there is often a need for further deepening and broadening of your trainer’s capability (or qualities). A secure base Mindfulness training offers you this opportunity. You learn more about the functioning of the autonomic nervous system and the influence of traumatic experiences. In these courses, theory alternates with practical, applicable exercises and interventions. You get new inspiration and knowledge for teaching (giving mindfulness and compassion).

INDIVIDUALS
When the world around you is in (motion)turmoil and volatile, how can you make sure you don’t get overwhelmed and sleep well? Step 1 is to find your safe base. That is the anchor point to which you keep returning when your thoughts go in all directions. That anchor point can be your breath or the body, but also an object or any other benchmark. A mindfulness training helps you stop going on and on and to switch off the autopilot. By returning to your anchor, you relax. And your nervous system responds to that.
