Mindfulness helpt je om in het hier en nu te zijn én te blijven. In een training Compassie leer je hoe je verbonden kunt zijn met jezelf en de ander. Helderheid ontwikkel je met een cursus Secure Base Communicatie, waarin je de wederzijdse verbinding aangaat. Zo bouw je een stevig fundament om alle uitdagingen en veranderingen in je leven aan te gaan!

Develop and strengthen the three qualities of your secure base

Every day, every moment, you can develop and strengthen your safe base again and again anew. The more the three qualities develop, the stronger the foundation from which you can shape your life becomes. Establishing your secure base changes the way you live your life!

Being centered trough mindfulness

The first quality is being Centered. You can practice that through mindfulness. You learn to consciously focus your attention on the here and now  and onto  your feelings, your thoughts, and your body. Without judgement or need to change them. Being centered is a quality you have when the nervous system feels safe, connected, and in the ‘green’ zone. Mindfulness is therefore the result of training the  autonomic nervous system. You learn to consciously strengthen its state in the  ‘green zone’, which makes you much more resilient.

The possible effects of mindfulness
Various studies have shown that Mindfulness training can contribute significantly to the reduction of stress and leads to:

  • flexibility and creativity in dealing with challenges of any kind;
  • more peace, clarity and presence;
  • greater ability to concentrate
  • more energy, inspiration and vitality

  • increased joy of life, and well-being.

Being connected through compassion

Compassion is the emotion you feel when faced with pain and suffering and you feel the need to act on it- your own or someone else’s. You can feel this quality of being Connected with yourself or another person if you (dare)are open to connect (yourself )based on trust and safety. In a Compassion Training, step by step, you learn to allow and face (look at ) your difficult feelings – e.g. fear or anger from your safe base. You learn to regulate yourself at your own pace.

Having a lot of self-compassion is linked to fewer mental health problems. Self-compassion reduces psychological problems such as nervousness and depression.



Being clear through communication
Being Centered and Connected improves  communication. You can deal with the critical voices, expectations and difficult feelings within yourself in stressful situations. You learn to examine them in small steps and to allow them instead of letting them define you. Communicating with the another person is a new experience. After all, when in contact with others, the autonomic nervous system is quickly activated, and you often communicate from a fixed pattern. But form a self-compmassion position, you can now take responsibility for who you are and what you feel, and you can establish (state) your boundaries without losing your connection with the other person.

Secure Base Model

The Secure Base model, the secure base itself with its three qualities: Centered, Connected, Clear, is central. Each Secure Base training helps you (to) develop and promote these three qualities, the 3 C’s, whereas the emphasis might be sometimes (more) on one quality, and other times  (more) on (the) another.

In the training you will learn how to tolerate and regulate even the most difficult feelings without being overwhelmed by them. This will change your view of yourself, of the others and of the world. Many participants also discover that this process can also help them in connecting with eachother. This way you break through the feeling of being alone and isolated, and you feel more connected.
